Online Renewal Form - Instructions

Renewing your membership online The online renewal form, a link to which is at the foot of this page, is mainly for taking advantage of NOCHEX to pay by UK credit or debit card but if you are going to make a single payment in Sterling or Euros directly into one of the Club's bank accounts or are setting up a new standing order it would be helpful to us if you could also use this form to let us know what you are intending to do. If you are making payment in one of these ways the form can also be used to let us know of changes to your membership details. If you wish to pay by cheque (or cash) please use the renewal form which you should receive automatically through the post when your renewal is due. Paying by a credit or debit card issued by a UK bank using NOCHEX If you have a credit or debit card issued by a UK bank you can pay your renewal subscription online by NOCHEX - you are not charged by NOCHEX or the Club for using this facility. If you decide to pay in this way there will be a link to the NOCHEX secure site on the page confirming the details you have completed in the renewal form. Please note that to use NOCHEX you must supply them with a valid email address and that if you live outside the UK and are using a UK card you must show in the NOCHEX form the UK address at which your card is registered. NOTE: A few banks were charging a fee for payment with a credit card through NOCHEX, treating these as cash withdrawals. This matter has been addressed and NOCHEX believe that cash surcharges should not arise in future. Paying directly into a Club bank account If you are going to make payment directly into our bank account, whether by a new standing order or a single payment, it would help if you completed the online renewal form so that we know where the payment is coming from; if you already have a standing order in force you need take no action. The details of the Club's bank accounts are shown below. Even if you are not completing the online renewal form, when setting up the payment arrangements please use your membership number as the reference preceded by an R if you are making a single payment or by an S if you are using a standing order. Paying by cheque (or cash) If you are paying by cheque or cash you should not complete the online form. Your cheque should be made payable to the TANDEM CLUB. Please note that if the cheque is not in Sterling or Euros you must add the equivalent of £6 to cover our bank charges. If you are paying by cash there is a £3 charge for currency other than Sterling or Euros. And finally ... Your renewal application will be processed once we have received your subscription. This information entered in the online renewal form will be recorded in a computer file - any credit/debit card details supplied to NOCHEX on their secure site are not available to the Club.
